Lauren Meichtry is a communication designer, artist, and map maker residing in Chico, CA.

After graduating with a BA in Communication Design and a Minor in Small Business Management from California State University, Chico, she has focused on improving her craft and sharing her art with the community.

In her spare time Lauren enjoys drawing comics, attending local events and reading the Sunday newspaper.

A few of her recent collaborations include:

-Set design for “Aikos AI Code” a short film selected for the 2025 Bay Area Maker Fair

-”The Rainbow Map” public art piece in Downtown Chico, across from City Plaza.

-Designing the current public art map for Chico, CA in collab w/ the awesome folks at Travel Chico
